Do you freeze your cupcakes to keep them from melting in the summer

This is beautiful. How do you keep your baked good from melting in the heat. I had my first event this weekend and my butter cream in my cupcakes melted in the heat. 😢

Thanks for the tips!!!! So do you alternate the treats and cupcakes in and out of the cooler as they warm up? After about 30 mins in the warm temps do they start to break down????

Someone asked me to make some of these a year or so ago. I had never made them, I've only made a sweet potato cheesecake, they turned out great though. I like the idea of adding the marshmallow and cookie toppings, I added candied pecans. Thanks for letting me be the comment of the day ☺ I have never taken a picture of it but someone just asked me to make it a couple of weeks ago. I will try to remember the next I make it. Keep that southern inspiration coming 👀❤

Love your Videos, Have you ever thought about doing your own road-side pop up farmers market? I just partner with 6 or 7 vendors and find an open piece of land that is easily visible from the street and it works out well. I try to be close to shopping plazas or busy intersections . Some businesses like Advance Auto or Metro PCS will allow you to use their parking lot, or just find an open field. The more vendors , the more people usually stop.

This is similar to my punch bowl cake. I add strawberries and sometimes blueberries if we're going for a red,white, and blue theme. I use my pound cake as base. It's a fan favorite. 😋

I’m so glad you mentioned those little dye dots. They drive me crazy. I always feel like an idiot that can’t make instant pudding when I see the marks mocking me.

Did you not do it over a double boiler to start with? Or did you pour in hot sugar? The double boiler method is Swiss buttercream, the hot sugar one is Italian. I always struggle with Italian, mine crystallises the same. My favorite frosting for holding shape is actually Ermine frosting, would love to see how you get on if you try it out.
